Close Company

I wish I had my friends close by,
I wish I could learn from them.
I wish I could spend more time with folks,
Who have a germinal stem.

I wish I had an intellectual company,
Who'd teach me to learn new stuff.
I wish I had not stopped exploring,
To end up in this bluff.

I know that I have to stand up,
Its time to be counted.
I know that I have that will,
One day my wish would be granted.

I know that it will change someday,
Its just a matter of time.
I know that there will be one day,
When everything will be just fine.
